Piece of Cake -Cake / Pie Slicer

So I saw this cake slicer on an ad video and thought what a really unique idea I need to get something like this its perfect… Then by luck, I was offered the chance to review it a few days later. How awesome was that, like it was meant to be lol. Now normally I just cut a cake with a regular butter knife or a pie slicer, and I’m sure that I’m not the only one that always winds up with cake frosting on their hands. I always make a mess and have to wipe off frosting off the knife. So whoever design this cake pie slicer is brilliant, I love that you can hold it without getting your cake frosting in your hands.

Also, there is also NO CHANCE of cutting yourself as it’s made with a firm flexible silicone food grade material. Which is totally weird because although it’s not sharp enough to cut you, it is enough to be able to cut into a cake. So this was a perfect slicer to use with my 5-year-old grandson because he can cut a piece of cake and I don’t have to worry about him getting cut. It only came in a lime green color that I could see, would be nice if it came in other color options. It is just under 11 inches in length, 1.5 inches at its widest point, and 1 inch towards the thinner part.

It was shipped the day I ordered it but took Fed Ex 5 extra days… Even thou per Prime through Amazon it was 2-day shipping…  Now I only gave it 4 stars because it still has some minor flaws, the cake doesn’t always come out easily. Sometimes it’s hard to grab the slice of cake, and the cake slices are much smaller that although for me it’s perfect my growing waist line, but others might not see that as a good thing. Also, some people complain of the weird shape but I don’t think it’s a big deal.

Also, a bonus that came with this slicer that I loved was the ebook with many different types of cheesecake recipes… YUMMY, the cheesecake in the example came from the recipe, even though we overcooked it lol. The cakes were cute and small as I had my 5-year-old grandson helping me bake and cut them as well. I know that they don’t look like the best cake ever but my grandson wanted to do the cake on his own, so all I could do was give him direction, and watch over him while I baked the cornbread cake. Now because of this ebook for recipes, I added that star back bringing this review back to 5 🎂s.
